ARMANDE MARIA BALLARD SWANTON/HIGHGATE — Mrs. Armande Maria Ballard, 76, a longtime area resident, died Thursday, April 13, 2000, in the Verdelle Village Extended Care Facility following a long illness.
Mrs. Ballard is survived by three daughters, Pauline Beaulieu and her husband, Louis, of South Burlington, Pierette Bouchard and her husband, Philip, of Franklin, and Johanne Embrey and her husband, Paul, of Orlando, Fla.; three sons, Gilles Ballard and his wife, Eileen, of St. Albans, Claude Ballard and his wife, Denise, of Ocala, Fla., and Jacques ""Jim" Ballard and his wife, Nancy, of Burlington. She also leaves 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Marcel Beaudry and his wife, Rose-Ange, of Granby, Quebec; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, April 17, 2000, at 11 a.m. in the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Swanton. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
