Age 90, Catherine passed away peacefully at Arbor Hospice on Thursday, July 3, 2014. She is survived by two sons, David (Ellen DeNigris) and Peter (Bettina Hoops) Beardsley and five grandchildren Philip, David (Amanda Rutledge), Bryan, Kevin and Katarina Beardsley. Catherine was born on November 14, 1923 in Delmar, DE to Charles and Della (Stant) Beuchamp. She received a Bachelor's Degree, and Masters Degree, in nursing from the Catholic University of America in Washington D.C. In June 1955, she married the late Commander William Judson Beardsley, U.S. Navy (retired) in Washington D.C. Catherine lived in Ann Arbor, MI for the last five years and enjoyed attending the Silver Club Programs of the University of Michigan Geriatrics Center. A memorial service for Catherine will take place later this year at Arlington National Cemetery.
