LEWISPORT, Ky. -- The Rev. Eugene Tanner Beauchamp, 80, Lewisport, died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Rev. Beauchamp was born in Henderson on Friday, Jan. 2, 1931, to the late Coston J. and Vera Lynn Dills Beauchamp. He served as a Methodist minister for more than 30 years and retired from the Kentucky Conference. He was a member of Lewisport United Methodist Church and he also previously worked at J.C. Penney for 25 years in a management position. He served as the pastor at several United Methodist churches before retiring. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.
Rev. Beauchamp will be missed daily by his survivors, including his loving wife, Rose Marie Buckman Beauchamp; one son, Dennis Beauchamp and his wife, June, of Howell, Mich.; one daughter, Victoria J. Beauchamp of Tampa, Fla.; one stepson, Donnie M. Rhodes of Tell City, Ind.; one stepdaughter, Kathleen Rhodes of Jasper, Ind.; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy J. Beauchamp of Knottsville and Doris Beauchamp of Owensboro; four grandchildren, Autumn, Spencer, Kim and Karen; six great-grandchildren, Victoria, Daniel, Matthew, Brendan, Laura and Ella; as well as his nephew and caregiver, David Beauchamp of Hawesville.
Service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Lewisport United Methodist Church. The Revs. William Vanderford and Allen Shouse will officiate.

Burial will follow in Lewisport Cemetery.
