Miss Christie Beatty, a sister of Mrs. H.N. Short, of this city, died on Wednesday of this week, the 17th, after a short illness, and was buried yesterday afternoon. The deceased was a young lady of intelligence and refinement, and during the short time she had lived in Fredonia had made many friends, who mourn her untimely and sudden death.
