The funeral service for Mrs. Cora Lee Beatty, 67 years old, wife of John S. Beatty of South Connellsville, who died Monday afternoon will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home. Rev. A. R. Mansberger, pastor of the First Methodist Protestant Church of which she was a member, will officiate. Interment will be made in Chestnut Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Beatty was born in Greene county February 16, 1871, but has spent most of her life at South Connellsville.
Besides her husband she leaves the following children: Robert, Warren, Earl and Mrs. William Garlick of South Connellsville, Mrs. Arthur Phunter of Coalbrook, Mrs. Edwin Moser of Carmichaels and Clara, Ellis and J. D. at home. There are also grandchildren, three great-granddchildren, a brother Jeff Herrington of East Liverpool, Ohio, and one sister, Mrs. Lulu Hamilton of Warren, Ohio. Seven children preceded the mother in death.
