Roma L. Beaton, age 92 formerly of DuBois, PA passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at Elk Haven Nursing Home, St. Mary's, PA.
She was born March 10, 1915 in Sykesville, PA to the late John W. and Ruth L. (Buhite) Foltz.
She married Neil M. "Pap" Beaton July 5, 1941 in Sykesville, PA. He preceded her in death October 24, 1998.
She graduated from Sykesville Schools.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, DuBois; was secretary of Sunday School and a member of United Methodist Women.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by a son Gary Neil Beaton, DuBois, PA; 5 grandchildren: Leslie Beaton, Lori Ruiz, Sean Beaton, Michelle Beaton and Shannon Beaton; 3 great-grandchildren; and a sister Mrs. Joseph (Doris) Scalise of Warren, PA.
She was preceded in death by a brother Max Foltz.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 1, 2007 from 2-4 PM at the Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel, Inc.
Funeral services will be held 4 PM Saturday at the funeral chapel with Reverend Jim Miller officiating.
Burial will take place in Lakelawn Memorial Park, Reynoldsville, PA.
