Beverly "Maurice" O'Neal Beasley, age 91, formerly of Alexandria, passed away Thursday, February 14, 2013, in Oschner Medical Center, Baton Rouge, LA.
She is preceded in death by her parents Augustus and Eliza O'Neal; her husband of 65 years Allen M. Beasley; one grandson Duke McCardle and four sisters.
Beverly retired after 12 years of service with Sears in Shreveport, La. She volunteered as a Pink Lady with CHRISTUS ST. Frances Cabrini Hospital, and loved to sew as a pass time.
She is survived by her three children: Franklin Beasley and wife Betty of Clemmons, NC; Barbara Beasley Akers and husband Don of Elberta, AL and Faye Beasley Jarred of Baton Rouge; five grandchildren: Billy Akers, Richard Akers and wife Jennifer, Shari Oliver and husband Mike, Elizabeth Beasley, and Brett McCardle; fourteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers honored to serve will be Frank Beasley, Don Akers, Mike Oliver, Bill Akers, Brett McCardle, Richard Akers and Adam Peeples.
