Beulah Beasley

ROWLETT, Texas – Beulah Jane Beasley, 96, of Rowlett, Texas, formerly of Casey, died at 6:45 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 16, 2002) at Senior Care at Lake Point in Rowlett, Texas.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Markwell Funeral Home in Casey with the Rev. George Nika and the Rev. Denny Smith officiating.  Burial will be in Washington Street Cemetery in Casey.  Visitation will be from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

She was born Sept. 5, 1906 in Martinsville, the daughter of John Y. and Kate Piersall Smith.  She married Alta Timothy Beasley in 1924; he died in 1992.

Surviving are one foster son, Denver Smith of Garland, Texas; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her three brothers.

Mrs. Beasley was a homemaker and member of the Martinsville Bible Church.
