BAILIE Harriett B. Bailie, formerly of Stratford, entered into rest Saturday May 7, 2005, at the Gardner Heights Convalescent Center in Shelton, were she resided for more than 10 years. She was the devoted wife of the late Alfred Bailie. Mrs. Bailie was born in Stratford, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Beardsley, and was a lifelong resident. She was a former cashier and payroll clerk for the former Howland‚s Department Store where she was employed for more than 10 years. She was the beloved mother of Shirley Keller; loving grandmother of Cynthia Morosko and her husband, Ron, and Michael and Scott Bailie. She also leaves two great-grandsons, Kevin and Stephen Morosko; and was predeceased by her son, William Bailie. There will be a private graveside service at Union Cemetery in Stratford. There are no public calling hours. At the request of the family memorial contributions may be made to the Griffin Hospital Cancer Center Fund through the development office at 130 Division Street, Derby, CT 06418. The Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, has been entrusted with her arrangements.
