Edward [G.] Beard, 50 years old, buyer for the Belknap Hardware & Mfg Company, died at 3:15 Monday morning at his home… He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Euphemia Wells Beard; two sons, Francis Beard, Evansville and Horace Scott Beard, Louisville; a sister, Mrs. Sallie Coke, Hardinsburg, and two brothers, P. Morris Beard and G. Daily Beard, both of Hardinsburg….Burial will be in Cave Hill Cemetery.
