Died – at his farm, in Turbut Township, on Friday the 6th instant, Mr. John Baird. He sustained through life an unblemished character; was a constant attendant upon divine ordinances; was an affectionate husband, a tender father, and a good member both of civil and religious society. He has left a respectable widow, and a number of children, also respectable, all men and women grown, as well as a great many other respectable relations, to lament his loss. His remains were interred in the Warrior Run Church yard on the evening of the next day, attended by a large number of afflicted relations and neighbors, where an appropriate address was delivered by the Rev. John Bryson.
