She was born on January 29, 1935, in Indianapolis, IN to Ivory & Leona Waltz.
Barbara enjoyed crocheting and playing Bingo. She loved watching her son, Jerry, dirt track racing.
Barbara retired from Oklahoma Graphics, and she also worked for Lee's Skyline Restaurant.
She is survived by five children, Mark Harkrider & wife Becky, of OKC; Brenda Harkrider, of Midwest City; Becky Todd, of Bradenton, FL; David Harkrider, of Atlanta, GA; and Vickie Williams & husband Sam, of OKC; fifteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Virginia Greene, of Kingman, IN; and one brother, George Waltz, of Indianapolis, IN.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; and two sons, Steve Beane and Jerry Harkrider.
Funeral Services, under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home, will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 28, 2014, in the Chapel of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home in Moore, OK.
