Maxine Beane, 75, of N. Elm St., Asheboro, died Thursday, Jan. 21, 1999, at Asheboro Health & Rehabilitation.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Rushwood Park Wesleyan Church, where she was a member, with Dr. Ron Hamilton and the Rev. Gene Schenck officiating. Burial will be in Union Grove United Christian Church Cemetery.

She was a native of Randolph County and the widow of Clifton H. Beane.

Surviving are daughters, Marilyn B. Allred, Elaine Garwood, both of Asheboro; son, Terry Beane of Arab, Ala.; sisters, Betty Hill, Anna Lewis Coble, both of Asheboro; brothers, Samuel Cagle, Odell Cagle, Everett Cagle, all of Asheboro; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

The family will be at Pugh Funeral Home, Asheboro, 7-9 p.m. Friday, other times at the home of Marilyn Allred, 2398 Spoons Chapel Road, Asheboro.
