ST. ALBANS -- Mrs. Beverly Ann Bean, age 66, beloved wife and mother, died unexpectedly Friday evening, Aug. 6, 2004, at her home. She was born in St. Albans Dec. 13, 1937, daughter of Ellen (Arpan) and the late Stephen Bruley.
Bev was employed at Verdelle Village, E.C.F., for several years. She was an active member of the Women of the Moose, Chapter 321, of St. Albans. She will be fondly remembered for her love of music and the incredible devotion she showed to all of her friends and family. She had a great love for her birds "Tuffy" and Jenny. She will be missed by all that knew her.
She is survived by three children, Debra A. Bean and her partner Adrian Irish, Jr., of St. Albans, Lynn Walker of Florida and Timothy Bean of Sheldon; her mother Ellen and her husband Clement Lestage of St. Albans; two sisters Arlene and her husband Arthur Gaudette of Fairfax, and Barbara Gaudette of Fairfax; brother David Bruley and his wife Phyllis of Northfield; three grandchildren, Marya May and her husband Willard Zweeres of St. Albans, Joshua Walker of Florida and Katie L. Bean of Sheldon; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Bean Oct. 22, 1988; and by her sister Evelyn Montgomery.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Aug. 12, 2004, at 8 p.m. in the Brady & Levesque Chapel. Father Maurice Roy, pastor of Holy Angels Church and the Women of the Moose will co officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home, 86 South Main St. from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Interment will be private.
