Judith M. Bean, 71, of Rutland, died Sept. 14, 2012, at Rutland Regional Medical Center.
She was born Oct. 8, 1940, in Ludlow, the daughter of Ernest and Theresa (King) Hemenway.
She graduated from Rutland High School in 1968.
Ms. Bean was employed by Magnafluz Nondestructive testing at General Electric Co. and worked for over 30 years at Perham's Nursing Home, Eden Park and the Sunset Home.
She was a member of St. Peter Church and attended Wellspring of Life Christian Church, as well as AA.
She enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include four children, Linda Johnson, Laura, Richard and Ronald Bean; three sisters, Claire Savage of Poultney, Elaine Senecal of West Rutland and Dorothy Wells of Clover, S.C.; and nine grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a brother, Richard Hemenway.
The memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, at the Aldous Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
