Farmer was the youngest of twelve children born to Milton and Henrietta Elizabeth (Sprague) Bean. He married Ethel Marie (Blake) in 1926 and they had two children: Vernadine Marie and Vernald Floyd.

Farmer Bean Dies Tuesday in Curlew, Wash.

Farmer Bean, formerly of Gold Creek, died in Curlew, Wash., Tuesday. He was born in Salt Lake City April 26, 1905. He was a rancher, member of the Montana Grange, in which he was assistant statemaster; and Gold Creek and Eagle Cliff granges. He moved to the Centennial valley near Monida as a child with his parents, the late Mr. And Mrs. Milton Bean. He was employed by the Anaconda company from 1941 to 1946 when he became manager of the Trbovich ranch at Gold Creek. In 1961 he moved to Deer Lodge to engage in ranching. He was married to the former Angela Trbovich Aug. 31, 1944.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons and a daughter-in-law, Mr. And Mrs. Vernald Bean, San Leandro, Calif.; Edvin Hobbs, with the Peace Corps in Nigeria; two sons-in-law and daughters, Mr. And Mrs. Harold Jones, Fort Peck; Mr. And Mrs. Melvin Bennett, Lewiston, Idaho; brother and sister-in-law, Mr. And Mrs. Milton Bean, Monida; brothers-in-law and sisters, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Noyes, Chinook; Mrs. Roberta McDowell, Dillon; nine grandchildren; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Mrs. Annis Bean, Salmon, Idaho; Robert, Mary, Sarah Trbrovich; Mr. And Mrs. Mark Fitzpatrick, Mr. And Mrs. Michael Sisich, Anaconda; Mrs. Mary Trbovich, Butte; Mrs. Ann Sexton, Oakland, Calif.
The body will be forwarded to Fischer funeral chapel for services and burial. Services will be Friday in Oroville, Wash.
