She was born in Burlington, the first daughter of Donald and Eleanor (Dubie) Lavalette.
Carol graduated from South Burlington High School, and from O'Briens College of Cosmotology.
She worked many years as a hair dresser.
She retired from the Howard Center after 25 years of service.
She met her loving husband, Eugene Bean, and they shared 48 years together.
They brought three caring children into the world.
She enjoyed camping at Lone Pine, Bingo, and vacationing with her family.
She was predeceased by her parents, Donald and Eleanor Lavalette; sister-in-law, Tanya Lavalette; godson and nephew, Skip Bombard; and her dogs, Sari and Molly.
