BEAN, DAVID NEIL - age 74, of Knoxville, passed away 9:30 a.m. Friday November 2, 2013 at Tennova Residential Hospice. He was a member of Wallace Memorial Baptist Church and teacher of a Men's Sunday School Class. Graduate of Fulton High School Class of '57, and graduate of the University of Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Stelmo Bean; and son, Mark David Bean. Survivors: wife, Ruth Ann Bean of Knoxville; son and daughter in law, John and Denyse Bean of Memphis; grandchildren, Lauren Elizabeth Bean, David Edwin Bean, Alexander Mark Bean, and Ellena Kathryn Bean. The family would like to thank the health care providers at North Knoxville Medical Center and Tennova Hospice. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be given to the Gideon's International Knoxville Northwest Camp, PO Box 560 Powell, TN 37849. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday at Stevens Mortuary, Oglewood Avenue at North Broadway. The family and friends will meet 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at Lynnhurst Cemetery for a graveside service and interment at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Mike Boyd and Reverend Kent Williams officiating.
