"Elizabeth Bean Claimed Friday
Miss Elizabeth Bean, 80, for many years a resident of Wilmington, died in her home in Lees Creek Thursday at 830 p.m. She had been in failing health for several years. She was the last of a family of 10 children of William and Margaret Hardesty Bean. An expert seamstress, she had her own shop in Wilmington for some time and also was employed in alteration departments of local stores. Funeral arrangements in charge of the Littletor Funeral Home, Sabina, are incomplete."
