Donald E. Beamer Biglerville
Donald E. Beamerl 64, of 241 Slatersville Road, Biglerville. died Tuesday, May 15, 2001, at Beverly Health Care in Gettysburg. He was the husband of Nellie Irvin Beamer for 37 years.
Born June 20. 1936. in Menallen Township, he was a son of the late Wilbert and Mary Kuhn Beamed
He was an Army veteran, having served from 1959 to 1962. He had been employed by PPG Industries of Mt. Holly Springs for many years before retiring. He was a member of Wenksville United Methodist Church, a life member of the South Mountain American Legion Post No. 674 of Mt. Holly Springs, Upper Adams Fish and Game Association, and Buchanan Valley Rod and Gun Club.
Surviving also are one daughter, Virginia Staub of Biglerville; three sons, Tim Staub of Gardners, Donald L. and Eugene "Pumpkin" H. Beamer! two sisters, Beulah Kime of Gardners and Marvel Drybread; and nine grand- children.
He was preceded in death by one son, Emmit W. Beamer one sister, Grace Black; one half-sister, Tress Rhoads; one brother, Guy Beamer and one half-brother, William McCauslin.
The service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday from the Dugan Funeral Home Inc., 111 S. Main St., Bendersville, with the Rev. James R. Speelman officiating.
Burial will be in Wenksville Cemetery.
A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Adams County Support Group, c/o Raymond Smith, 1415 Biglerville Road, Gettysburg, PA 17324.
