Ada Foree Beam departed this life, Sunday June 13, 2004 after a brief illness. She was born Nov. 12th, 1914 to Albert and Margaret Foree in Conroe, Texas. The family moved to Okla. City early in Ada's life and she loved to recall how the city had grown up around her. She married Tom Beam July 4th 1937 and they worked together at many things, most successfully Beam's Seat Covers, Beam's Seatbelt Manufacturing as well as the development of a number of real estate properties. They were both known for their big hearts and generosity. They were active members at the church of Christ, big supporters of missions and education. In 1955 they adopted 3 children from Germany. They are Ed Beam, Gerd Fecht Beam of Okla. City and Dieter Beam of Missouri. Ada had 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and a host of relatives and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her three brothers.
