Mr. Beal was born March 3, 1921 in Scurry County to Allen and Birdie (Montgomery) Beal. He married Velma Savage in Coleman, TX. Eddie owned and operated Beal's Garden Center in Coleman. He enlisted in the United States Army from 1942 to 1944 where he was a Quartermaster Remount Calvary. He was a member of the Community Baptist Church of Coleman.
He is survived by 2 Sons, Dywaine Beal and wife Sherry of Snyder, Barry Beal of Snyder; 2 Brothers, Freddie Beal and wife Sylvia of Abilene, Roland Beal of Big Spring; 1 Sister, Vabine Spivey of Tucson, AZ; 3 Grandsons,
Sam Beal of Bedford, TX, Chad Beal of Lubbock, Joe Beal of Santa Fe, NM, 2 Granddaughters, Mitzi Vander and husband Steve of Vader, AR, Lorene Beal; 8 Great Grandchildren; 3 Great great Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, sisters Rosella Beal and Inez Gunnels, brother Cecil Beal and twin brother Zeddie Beal.
