She was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Adams and three brothers, Stanley, Charles and George Bowles.
She is survived by her husband, Jack Beahr; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Glinda Beahr; two grandchildren, Aprile Watkins (Chip) and Curtis Beahr (Brandy); three great-grandchildren, Mattie, Chaz and Camdyn Watkins; one brother, Raymond Bowles (Betty Ann); three sisters, Myrtle Farmer, Thelma Swails (Jim) and Joyce Dunkum.
Mrs. Beahr was a lifetime member of Pole Green Church of Christ.
The family received friends 2pm to 8pm, Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at the Mechanicsville Chapel, Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee Davis Rd. where funeral services were held 2pm, Wednesday, February 18, 2009. Interment Signal Hill Memorial Park.
