Funeral services for Varetta Ann Beach, 57, of Devill, were held Friday at the chapel of Hixson Brothers, Alexandria, with
Bro. Tim Merritt officiating.
Interment followed in Myrtle Cemetery, Winnsboro.
Mrs. Beach was born Feb. 3, 1950 and passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2007. She was preceded in death by her father,
Grady L. Nichols Sr.; grandparents I.L. and Katherine Nichols; Howard and Ann Winborne.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Beach; sons: Charles E. Martin, Jr., Deville; William A. Martin, Tuscaloosa, Ala.;
daughters: Cynthia D. Johnese, Deville; Rachel A. Beach, Natchez, Miss.; mother, Juanita Winborne Nichols, Aberdeen, Miss.; brothers: Grady L. Nichols Jr., Oceanside, Calif.; Gregory L. Nichols, Tallulah; Gary L. Nichols, Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; sister, Marilyn S. Hallmark, Baton Rouge; Jessica R. Bowen, Aberdeen, Miss.; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
