On January 1, 1954 she was united in marriage to Colby June Bayman. They made their home in the South Whitley area. Mr. Bayman died October 2, 2017.
Following high school, she worked for Blue Bell in Columbia City before becoming a full-time homemaker raising their three children.
She was a member of the Collamer Church of God. She is fondly remembered as a great cook and nobody could leave her home hungry. She enjoyed her Sunday walks through South Whitley with her children and grandchildren. As her mobility declined, she liked doing puzzle books.
