Carrie "Betty" E. Dearborn, 73, of Nampa, passed away at a Nampa hospital on Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2010.
Carrie was born on July 25, 1937 in Laramie, Wyoming, the daughter of Charles Earl and Lena Pearl (Brewster) Bayless. She was reared and educated in Wyoming. She married K.L. Morgan in 1953 and to this union 5 children were born, Sherrie, Burt, Gena, Kenneth and Kandy. She and Kenneth were divorced and she later married Albert Dearborn and he preceded her in death. Carrie was employed at Holly Care Center in Nampa where she worked for 23 years as a dietician. She retired to have time to care for her mother. She loved having her grandchildren and family at her home. She served as a volunteer at the Nursing Home, enjoyed fishing, scratch off's and her sweet dog, Keele. She looked forward to the Christmas holiday season each year so she could make cookies with her mom.
Carried is survived by her children, Sherrie and Ben McDonald, Weiser, ID; Burt and Kathleen Morgan, Anchorage, AK; Gena Aikman and Jerry Burger, Scottsdale, AZ; Kandy and Jay Duffy, Bellevue, WA; Kenneth Morgan and James Atherton, both of Nampa; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
