Ary Bayless, a well known resident of Browns Valley, died early on Monday morning. He has been in a critical condition, and his death was reported on Sunday but it proved not to be the case. He was the son of William and Martha Miles Bayless and was born November 2, 1882. He is survived by his wife, who was a Miss Lydick, and two children; Charles Bayless of Crawfordsville and Audria Bayless at home; and by four brother: Guy Bayless of Redman, Ill., Roy and John of Browns Valley and Noah Bayless of Crawfordsville. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Funeral services were held at Freedom on Wednesday morning with Rev. C.B. Stanforth in charge. Burial at Freedom Cemetery.
