Jeanne R. Klise, 74, of Kokomo, passed away at 4:30 PM, Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at St Vincent’s Kokomo. She was born on May 14, 1941 in Kokomo to late Robert Baxter and late Dorothy (Dreyer) Warnock. She married Max Klise on October 20, 1990 in Kokomo, and he survives.

Jeanne was a housewife most of her life. She earned her license as a hair stylist 18 years ago and owned and operated her own salon out of her home, Jeanne’s Salon. Jeanne enjoyed camping and traveling with her husband to view races, such as the Indy 500. She was talented at knitting and crocheting; every winter, she would knit countless hats which she donated to the Kokomo Rescue Mission. She was a member of the Local VFW Post #1152 Women’s Auxiliary.

Jeanne is survived by her husband, Max; two sons; Jeff Parrott, Denver, CO, and Bill Parrott, Palm City, FL; two brothers, Donald Warnock and Rick Baxter; a step sister, Donna Kulb, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

Jeanne’s family will be receiving relatives and friends for a time of visitation on Monday from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo. Burial will follow at Galveston Cemetery with Pastor Norm Snyder officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions will be accepted in Jeanne’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
