Funeral Services for Ira Waynon Baxley were held Friday, July 11, 2014 in the chapel of Kramer of Colfax, Bro. Lloyd Whitman officiated. Interment followed in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Colfax.
Ira Waynon Baxley, age 74, of Atlanta, passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2014 in his residence.
Waynon is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Eva Baxley, four brothers and one sister.
Waynon loved his family and always wished for them to be happy in life. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing, as well as America's favorite past time, baseball. Waynon was always joking with everyone, trying to make them laugh and bring joy to their life.
He is survived by his children; two sons; one daughter; his adopted daughter; one brother of Seminary, MS; numerous nieces and nephews.
Services were under the direction of Kramer of Colfax.
