Bawel, Benjamin H., son of Samuel and Elizabeth (Zook) Bawel, was born at Naginey, Pa., Sept. 9, 1898; died at the Lewistown (Pa.) Hospital on Oct. 26, 1975; aged 77 y. On Dec. 5, 1920, he was married to Sarah C. Yoder, who survives. Also surviving are 3 sons (John Y., Daniel E., and Noah B.) and one brother (Samuel B.). He was a member of the Locust Grove Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Oct. 29, in charge of Gerald Peachey, John Rosenberry, and Erie Renno; interment in Locust Grove Cemetery.
