Roger D. Bausman, 66, of Pontiac, died at 11:25 p.m. Thursday (Jan. 30, 2014) at Heritage Manor, Minonk.
He was born July 26, 1947 in Freeport to Clyde and Velma Murray Bausman. He was preceded by his parents and one brother, Gordon Bausman.
Surviving are his significant other, Darlene Garrett; sons, Mark (Anita) Bausman and David Bausman; daughters, Cathy (Danny) Baxter and Andrea Goldsmith; sister, Connie (Tom) Cox; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He graduated from St. Francis School of Nursing in Peoria, receiving his bachelor's degree in 1998. He was a volunteer firefighter and EMT in Warren. He worked for Heritage Health Care in Minonk for five years and various nursing homes in the surrounding area. He was most recently employed with Luckey Tank Lines in Streator for the past seven years.
