Mrs. Bessie J. Bausman (nee Weitzle), widow of Rev. Lewis F. Bausman, who was an active minister in the Philadelphia Conference, died at 1:20 o'clock Thursday morning, in the Methodist Church Home, at Cornwall. She was seventy-three. She was a member of the Arch Street Methodist Church, Philadelphia, and is survived by four daughters and a son. [Lebanon Daily News, Friday March 27, 1953]
Funeral services were held at three o'clock this afternoon at the Rohland Parlors, Fifth and Cumberland Streets, for Mrs. Bessie J. Bausman, a guest of the Cornwall Methodist Home. She was the widow of Rev. Lewis F. Bausman. Services were conducted by Rev. Levi H. Zerr, Henry E. Walhey and Harry Truax. Interment took place at the Quentin Cemetery.
