Adolph O. Baumann, about 66, who died in Chicago July 15, will be buried here Saturday. The graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. in Kiel cemetery. Mayor R J Sisson will speak at the services.
Mr. Baumann was a native of Kiel. He attended the local schools and was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin. For many years he had conducted a very successful business forecasting service in Chicago, specializing in service to the meat packing industry.
He was a benefactor of the Kiel Municipal Band, donating several sums of money for the purchase of music. He also donated the large plaque and stone which is placed on the city hall lot.
`He is survived by his wife and four daughters. A son, James, was killed in World War II.
