Mrs. Wilhelmine Ottilie Ackermann (nee Baumann), the wife of J. M. Ackermann died on Saturday afternoon as a result of a stroke which she suffered on Friday morning. She was born January 4th, 1834 in Scheibenberg, Sachsen, Germany and reached the age of 75 years, 8 months and 21 days. In 1852 she came to America and Sheboygan County with her parents and her brothers and sisters. On May 15, 1853 she was married to Mr. Ackermann of Town Rhine by Pastor Erbe. They lived on a farm in town Rhine for 5 years before moving to Plymouth.
Besides her husband she is survived by the following children; Mrs. Mary Volquarts, Mrs. August Doenitz, Philip, Theodore and Alvin Ackermann all living here with the exception of Mrs. Doenitz who lives in Duluth, Minnesota, also 6 grandchildren, three brothers, Edward Baumann of St. Cloud, Ernst and Theodore Baumann of Glenbeulah and a sister, Mrs. Jacob Keuper of Plymouth. The funeral is Tuesday afternoon from the home of the deceased and then at the Reformed Church and burial at the city cemetery with Pastor Beisser officiating.
