Georgette Baum
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, June 17, at Rest-Haven Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene for Georgette Baum of Eugene, who died June 6 of age-related causes. She was 92.
She was born June 28, 1918, in New York. She married Herman Baum on June 19, 1938. He died Feb. 2, 2004.
She attended Colby Junior College in New Hampshire. She was a homemaker, pianist and composer.
Survivors include two daughters, Jennifer McConochie and Nancy Pruitt, both of Eugene; a brother, Arnold Seckler of Los Angeles; and three grandchildren. A son, Richard Baum, died 1945. A daughter, Joanne Giacomelli, died in 2005.
