Delphi. Sept. 3.-Mrs. Ida E. Newell, 82. of E. Franklin street, died at 5 o'clock this evening at her home, after an illness of several months.
Born in Carroll county June 7, 1865. she was the daughter of John L. and Lydia Helser Baum. She was married October 23, 1884 to Ernest Newell, who died in 1941.
She was a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors are a son, Earl, of here: a daughter, Mrs. May Scott, Yeoman: a brother and a sister, Theodore Baum and Mrs. Maude Shaeffer, both of here.
The body is at the Patrick mortuary.
