Carolyn Herman Baum, 71, of 614 W. Second St., Hummelstown, died Tuesday in Harrisburg Hospital.
She retired as a billing clerk from the former Bell of Pennsylvania; was a graduate of the former Steelton High School; a volunteer dispatcher for the Elder Express, Hummelstown; a volunteer at Bethesda Mission and Bethany Village, Lower Allen Twp.; and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Hummelstown, where she was a Sunday school teacher, and the Lioness Club of Hummelstown.
Surviving are her husband, Ernest M. Baum; two daughters, Kathleen L. Keough of Marysville and Mary Elizabeth Hamsher of Hummelstown; a son, William W. of Hummelstown; a sister, Evelyn Williams of Steelton; two brothers, John W. Herman of Hummelstown and James M. Herman of York Haven; and three granddaughters.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in her church. Burial will be in Hillsdale Cemetery, Londonderry Twp.
Viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday in the church.
