The funeral for Clarence Artavelt "Zeke" Baugher, 92, of Harrisonburg will be held 2 p.m. today at Muhlenberg Lutheran Church.

The Rev. John Derrick and the Rev. John Petersheim will conduct the service. Burial will be in Keezletown Cemetery.

Mr. Baugher, a former resident of Singers Glen, died early Saturday morning at Rockingham Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient since Aug. 16.

He was born Oct. 24, 1889, near Broadway and was a son of the late Gideon and Abigail Summers Baugher.

Mr. Baugher had owned and operated several stores, restaurants and parking lots in Harrisonburg.

He had been a member of Company C, 116th Infantry, 29th Division of the Virginia National Guard and had served under the late Capt. William G. Myers.

Mr. Baugher also was a member of Muhlenberg Lutheran Church in Harrisonburg.

On June 23, 1915, he married the former Ocie Armentrout, who died Oct. 15, 1970.

Surviving is a daughter, Dorothy Lee Baugher of Harrisonburg.

The body is at the McMullen Funeral Home, Rt. 2, Harrisonburg, where friends may call.
