Born October 29, 1900, in Nancy, she was the daughter of John Marion Gaines and Frances Vaughn Gaines.
She was a member of the West Somerset Baptist Church.
Survivors are a son, Amos Baugh, Nancy; four daughters, Ella Mae Tarter, Cains Store, Lorene Bennett, Nancy, Emma Frances Bray and Josephine Dye, both of Somerset; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Two daughters, Wanda and Helen Baugh, a brother, Earl Gaines, and a sister, Emma Burton, preceded her in death.
Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Elders Bill Hall and Garland Wilson officiating.
Burial will be in the Chesterview Cemetery.
