Mrs. Baugh died Friday, April 2, in a local hospital.
She was born on Jan. 6, 1925, to Clarence Victor and Mamie Hill Griggs in Bell County. In 1946, she married U.J. Baugh Jr. She was a life long resident of Temple; a member of Heights Baptist Church; the Golden Heights Choir; and the Bell County A.R.C. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1997.
Survivors include a son, Brian Baugh of Temple; a daughter, Janet Avery of Temple; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple.
