Theodore Bauer, 72, died Sunday, July 25, 1993 in Spokane, WA. A Memorial service was held at the Pines Mausoleum in Spokane on Monday, August 2. Thornhill Valley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He was born in Outlook, MT and grew up near Tolley, ND. He was a veteran of WW II, U.S. Army, European Theater, 5th Infantry Division and was decorated for valor with two Bronze Stars. He was married to Muriel Olson in 1946 in Plentywood, MT. They made their home in Billings, MT from 1953 to 1973, and at that time they moved to Spokane, WA. He was self-employed in the construction industry doing remodeling jobs. He also managed the APCOA Parking at Spokane International Airport for five years. He retired in 1983.
He was an avid supporter of the Spokane Shyhawk Soccer Association.
He is survived by his wife, Muriel Bauer of Spokane; daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Bill Nichols of Spokane; sister, Margaret Rick of Minneapolis, MN; granddaughters, Heather, Heidi and Haley Nichols, all of Spokane and Richelle and Kala Dolan of Issaquah, WA and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Marla Kae Dolan in 1990.
