She was a lifelong resident of Marietta and was a member of Marietta First Baptist Church.
Frances was survived by four daughters and three sons; two sisters, Mrs. L.J. Southerlin of Texarkana, TX, and Mrs. Earl P. Porter of Muskogee, OK; two brothers, W. Vannoy Johnson of Texarkana, AR., and G.C. Johnson of Marietta; a half-sister, Mrs. E.W. Bruce of Marietta; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services: Sunday, May 26, 1963, Marietta First Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Carl Patterson and Rev. C.B. Rollins, Jr.
Burial: Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery.
