When he return to the Gainesville area he started his career at Sunland Training Care Center as a Rehab. Therapist after 18 years of services he retired.
Mr. Batie will be missed in the hearts of; A loving wife; Pamela Batie of Gainesville, Fl. One Son; Jon Michael Batie. One Step-daughter; Breanna Clayton. A Grand-mother; Mrs. Johnnie Mae Batie. four borthers; Aaron Jr., Stevie, Rodney, and Tyrone McGlon. Two Sister; Brenda, and Debbie McGlon. Six Aunts. One Uncle Father and Mother-in Law; Wille and Janie Jackson.
The Services for Mr. Michael Batie will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2008 10:30am at New Salem Baptist Church of Gainesville, Florida. Viewing will be held one hour prior to service. There will be no Viewing after the message. The Committal Services will follow in the Patterson Cemetery, (Arredonda Community) Gainesville, Florida.
