Mrs. Collum died Wednesday in Hinds General Hospital following a brief illness.
She had lived in Rankin County all of her life before moving to Jackson. She was a member of Leesburg Baptist Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Watts and Mrs. Hilda Fairchild, both of Jackson and Mrs. Grant Winstead of Pelahatchie; two sisters, Mrs. T.G. Lawrence Sr., of Brandon, and Miss Marie Bates of Jackson; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Sam F. Bates Jr., Johnny S. Williams, Claude E. Bates, George E. Bates, T.G. Lawrence and Rodney Lawrence.
