He had 11 siblings: Clement (who died at about 22, 2 years and 3 months before his oldest brother and namesake was born), James, Seth, Thomas (died at 4 days old), Thomas, Joshua, Paul, Nabby, Betsey (died at less than 2 years old), Betsey and Clement.
Gamaliel married Mary Carver of Pembroke, MA. They married in Hanover on September 5, 1771. They had 15 children: Lydia, Gamaliel, Mary P., Calvin, Hannah, James, John Blaney, Rebecca, Deborah (died at 6 months), Deborah (my ancestor), Reuben, Betsey, Rufus, Ezekiel and Abigail.
Gamaliel was a stone mason by trade.
Jesse Daggett Bates is Gamaliel's grandson (through Ezekiel).
