FORT WORTH - Jewell Bateman, 82, a homemaker, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2002, at a Farmers Branch nursing home.
Memorial service: 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Sandy Lane Christian Church in Fort Worth.
Jewell Bateman was born Oct. 16, 1919, in Fairfield. She was the owner and operator of Jewell's Bridal Service and was a hostess at Sagamore Hill Baptist Church for a number of years.
Survivors: Daughter, Ilene McCarroll and husband, Larry, of Plano; grandchildren, Bari Davis, Blake Wilson, Jarrod McCarroll, Justin McCarroll and Jessie McCarroll; great-grandchildren, Kord and Klay Davis and Carrie and Amy Joy Wilson; and nephews, Aaron "Buddy" Brown, Jay Brown and Ray Brown.
