Funeral services will be held here Sunday afternoon for Sgt. 1/C Clyde H. Bateman, Sr., who died in Korea June 29. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Park.
Sergeant Bateman died in the Army's 25th Evacuation Hospital at Taegu, Korea, from an illness.
Survivors include his wife, the former Miss Bonnie Bell Myres, and a son, Clyde Bateman, Jr., Paris; his father, C. E. Bateman, Sterling, Oklahoma; and a sister, Mrs. Brown Griffin, Sulphur, Oklahoma.
