At the age of 70, F. Wade Bates passed away suddenly on Thursday, March 17, 2011.

He was born in New York City. Wade was a 1959 graduate of Pascack Valley High School; a 1963 graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University and a master's recipient of The New School University. Before retiring in 1997, Wade was a human resource professional with Nabisco, East Hanover, N.J. He was a Boy Scout leader with Troop No. 91/349 in Hillsdale, N.J., and a member of the Motor Bus Society. Wade was a lifelong, active member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Hillsdale, N.J.

He was predeceased by his parents Charles and Marion Bates.

He leaves to mourn his wife, two daughters and two sons with their spouses, four grandchildren, a brother and his spouse.

Services were held at Becker Funeral Home and at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church with Interment at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, N.J.
