great grandson furnished information on Alexander Leon Batchler. His wife was Lucy Petty. His sons were Jacob Crockett, William H., Rufus E., James Alexander. Daughters Emma Jane(White), Martha Isabell(Martin), Mammie(Timmie),Osie Lee(Kitchem), Ruthie Carrie(Parker),Eula Vastine(Allison).
Edith was his niece.
