LINDA BATCHELOR Obituary
Mrs. Linda Ruth Batchelor, of De Kalb, Texas, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2010 at a Texarkana hospital. She was 66.

Linda was born October 7, 1943 in De Kalb, Texas to Thurman and Lucy Walker Estes. On October 25, 1962, she married Homer Lee Batchelor in Texarkana, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of the De Kalb Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband, Homer Batchelor of De Kalb, Texas; two sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy Batchelor and Kamie Holt of De Kalb, Texas and Wade and Samantha Batchelor of De Kalb, Texas; a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Rusty Michaelis of Texarkana, Texas; a sister, Ruby Morris of Texarkana, Texas; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Hubert and Barbara Estes of Hope, Arkansas, Van and Janice Estes of Hope, Arkansas and William "Dock" Estes of Hooks, Texas; two brothers-in-law and three sisters-in-law, Alice Faye Estes of Hope, Arkansas, Bobby and Joann Batchelor of De Kalb, Texas and Clarence and Ann Batchelor of Wills Point, Texas; three granddaughters and a grandson-in-law, Brooke and Darren Phelps of Avery, Texas, Allison Michaelis of Texarkana, Texas and Lainey Batchelor of De Kalb, Texas and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday, September 27, 2010 at Bates Family Funeral Home.

Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at the Church of Christ in De Kalb, Texas with Steve Marx and Buddy Ray officiating. Interment will follow at Woodmen Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
